Used to adapt to male pipe threads to CPVC tubing. A special elastomeric gasket ensures a leak-proof seal. Hand-tighten only. This fitting seals by means of a gasket.
Used to adapt metal MIP threaded fittings to CPVC. Hand tighten only; seals by means of a special elastometric gasket at base of threads to ensure a leakproof seal; use of joint compound or Teflon tape is neither necessary nor recommended. Bagged.
